As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will respond to alarms, document observations using computer or tablet systems, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic corporate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
