Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a licensed Occupational Therapist, supporting students across a range of school sites. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ development during a maternity leave coverage period, beginning as soon as possible and tentatively extending through the end of January 2027. Working full-time, you will provide essential OT services in an itinerant capacity, collaborating with educational staff and engaging with a diverse student population.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina OT license required; please ensure your application includes a snapshot of your current license.
• Demonstrated experience providing OT services in a school setting.
• Proficiency with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System) is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with school teams, families, and students.
• Previous experience with multiple school sites or itinerant roles is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver school-based OT assessments, interventions, and therapy, supporting individualized education plans.
• Travel between designated campuses as needed (including W.R. Odell, Mary Frances Wall Center, and possibly additional locations).
• Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and student progress.
• Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success.
• Participate in virtual interviews and team meetings as necessary.

This contract position offers full-time hours (37.5 hours/week) in a collaborative educational environment, with assignments across sites providing both variety and professional growth.
