Regulatory Compliance Manager

We are partnering with a leading global insurance organization to identify a talented professional for this exciting opportunity. We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee licensing, regulatory, and operational compliance activities within a complex insurance environment. This role will ensure adherence to applicable state regulations, maintain strong internal controls, and support business stakeholders on regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions. Open to hybrid role in NYC, NJ, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia Key Responsibilities Manage processes related to regulatory filings, disclosures, reporting requirements, documentation, and record retention. Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential business impact. Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to maintain and strengthen compliance controls. Maintain regulatory calendars and coordinate responses to inquiries from regulatory bodies. Oversee filing deadlines, reporting obligations, and payment requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Support internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews. Prepare reporting metrics and participate in governance and risk management initiatives. Provide guidance to business partners regarding regulatory requirements and best practices. Qualifications Must have active P&C License Must have active Surplus Lines License Must have active A&H License Experience executing DRLP-related filings and attestations Experience supporting regulatory exams and audits Experience monitoring premium tax reporting obligations Experience managing regulatory filings, attestations, and compliance reporting. Prior experience supporting audits, examinations, or regulatory reviews. Strong understanding of insurance regulatory requirements and multi-state compliance obligations. Familiarity with regulatory filing systems and processes. Experience & Skills 8+ years of experience within insurance, regulatory compliance, risk, governance, or related functions. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and internal control environments. Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate business processes and recommend improvements. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
