Job Overview A law firm seeks an Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Of Counsel in Denver, Colorado. This role offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement or remote work opportunities, allowing professionals to collaborate with experienced attorneys on insurance coverage and litigation matters across the United States. Duties Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents. Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations. Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices. Investigate claims and draft coverage opinion letters. Provide clients with insurance coverage advice on various subjects. Communicate with clients and provide status reports. Requirements Admitted to practice in the state of Colorado. At least 8 years of defense litigation experience. 5+ years of coverage/coverage litigation experience. Experience in drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines. Experience in third-party or first-party claims. Coverage analysis and writing experience. Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions. Experience cross-examining plaintiffs and other fact witnesses preferred. Trial experience a plus. Education JD from an ABA accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice law in Colorado.
