We’re looking for an experienced, driven, and hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and is passionate about building strong teams while delivering consistently excellent food.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all daily kitchen operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop kitchen staff.
• Manage a diverse team of full-time employees, seasonal staff, and J-1 Exchange Program employees.
• Create schedules and maintain proper staffing levels.
• Place food and supply orders while controlling inventory and minimizing waste.
• Maintain food cost goals and labor budgets.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met every shift.
• Enforce all health department, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Work closely with ownership and front-of-house management to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Assist with menu execution, specials, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills.
• Experience hiring, training, and managing large teams.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, ordering, food cost control, and labor management.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Nights, weekends, and holidays are required during peak season.
