Assistant Branch Manager

Location 12550 Perry Highway Wexford, PA 15090 Hours Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Must be flexible around branch hours) Job Function Responsible for profiling customers to determine financial services needs and referring customers to other Line of Business partners when appropriate. Opens loan and deposit accounts. Responsible for achieving individual goals including loan and deposit production and other sales goals as assigned by Branch management. Responsibilities Complete Sales Platform training as assigned by Consumer Bank Training Demonstrate product knowledge, sales aptitude, and service expectations Execute expectations outlined in the Branch Playbook Become CARE certified within 6 months of hire Profile customers to determine and recommend appropriate S & T loan and deposit products Use sales tools (e.g., LoanFit, sales binder) to enhance customer experience Complete S & T Sales process and document notes in system for future interactions Input loan applications using LOS software and coordinate loan document preparation Open new deposit accounts; produce signature cards, certificates of deposit, and other deposit documents Suggest additional bank services (other loan accounts, deposit services, insurance products) using CARE skills and product knowledge Make referrals to Mortgage, Wealth Management, Financial Services, Business Banking, Elavon, Elan, Private Banking, Evergreen, Deluxe, etc. Contribute to branch goals and sales/service standards per Branch Playbook Execute professional sales and service behaviors aligned with Bank’s Our Shared Future purpose, values, and core drivers Follow up on loans and deposit accounts opened and correct deficiencies or document exceptions timely Complete proposed campaign calls on new and existing customers using Sales & Service guide Assist branch management in coaching staff regarding S & T Sales process and expectations Maintain good working relationship with bank employees in other departments and business lines Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as team player Complete NLMS requirements as part of S.A.F.E. Act certification (including proof of registration with registry and unique identifier) Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operation Education Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training or a two-year degree. Experience Two to five years general experience required; specialized preferred. Physical Demands Operate a keypad device: 70% of the day; operate electronic equipment: 10% of the day; operate office equipment: 10% of the day. Standing required 2 hours per day in a straight position. Sitting required 5 hours per day in a leaning position. Routinely lift up to 10 lbs, 2 times per day. Maximum lift 20 lbs, one time per day. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Use manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day.
