Parts Manager

Responsibilities Oversee parts inventory management across three manufacturing locations Procure maintenance, repair, and operational (MRO) parts, including specialized parts research, in a timely and cost‑effective manner Receive incoming parts, verify accuracy, and ensure proper labeling and identification Organize and store parts in a structured, accessible and standardized manner Maintain accurate inventory levels, including min/max thresholds and reorder points Utilize MaintainX CMMS to track inventory, usage, and part history Ensure all parts are properly logged, categorized, and searchable within the CMMS Support maintenance teams by quickly fulfilling part requests and reducing downtime Conduct routine cycle counts and periodic full inventory audits Identify and eliminate obsolete, duplicate, or excess inventory Standardize parts across facilities where possible to reduce complexity and cost Operational Impact Improve equipment uptime through reliable parts availability Reduce emergency purchases and expedite fees Drive organization and visibility across all maintenance parts inventory Support preventive maintenance programs with accurate parts readiness Key Skills & Capabilities Strong organizational and inventory management skills Attention to detail with labeling, tracking, and documentation Proficiency in CMMS systems (experience with MaintainX preferred) Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritize effectively Basic understanding of mechanical and maintenance parts Strong communication and collaboration with maintenance teams Success Profile Proactive, structured, and detail‑oriented Takes ownership of inventory accuracy and organization Operates with urgency to support production needs Continuously looks for ways to simplify and improve systems Benefits Salary based on experience Medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits Paid holidays & vacation time Quarterly bonuses Matching contribution to 401(k) plan #J-18808-Ljbffr EW Grobbel
