Registered Nurse (RN)

We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is designed for a dedicated healthcare professional who is ready to provide exceptional patient care. Below are the specifications related to the role.

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 23
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 to 1:5
• Unit Staffing: Includes Unit Secretary and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• Equipment: Traction, fixators, cooling equipment
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 3 shifts of 12 hours each, including 3 weekend shifts per schedule period
• Floating Policy: Contract labor will float first, primarily to other Medical-Surgical units
• Patient Experience Requirements: Bedside shift report and hourly rounding are mandatory

Skills and Qualifications

• Essential Qualifications: Valid RN license and BLS certification
• Preferred Experience: Orthopedic experience, Telemetry, and NIH Stroke Scale familiarity
• Procedures Performed: Post-operative care for knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, management of trauma patients, and some neurological overflow cases

Dress Code

Required uniform consists of navy scrubs.
