Tax Manager

This is a small firm built by accountants who got tired of the big firm machine. The bureaucracy. The politics. The red tape. They've built a boutique practice serving businesses up to $300m in revenue and high net worth clients who need proper advice and appreciate the personable service. They're looking for a CPA with 8+ years of public accounting experience. Strong tax experience is the priority. Broad exposure across individuals and businesses is important. If you've worked with high net worth clients, complex returns or hedge fund K1s, even better. You'll have real client relationships, genuine responsibility and the chance to build something rather than simply process work. The hours are sensible too. 45 hours in January and February. 50 hours through the April deadline. Then back to a 4 day, 32 hour week. No mandatory Saturdays.
