Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
• Utilize and manage circulatory assist devices such as Heartmate and ECMO.
• Perform invasive hemodynamic monitoring and titrate vasoactive medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV and Rapid Response teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system.
• Facilitate patient recovery by providing post-operative care and support.

Qualifications

• CSICU/CVICU experience at a level 1 facility is mandatory.
• EPIC charting experience required without exceptions.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience with critical care competencies.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Skills in CRRT, IABP, and post-op cardio-thoracic surgery recovery.
• Preference for BSN; travel experience is advantageous.
