Job Description:


- Location : Vail, CO
- Schedule : 3x12s (Day Shifts)

As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the operating room, directly impacting patient care through your expertise and dedication. Your responsibilities will include:

- Mastering sterile and aseptic techniques while demonstrating knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures.
- Ensuring a safe operating environment by maintaining equipment and monitoring the integrity of sterile fields.
- Collaborating with the surgical team during procedures, actively participating in communication processes and teamwork.
- Maintaining flexibility in your approach to delivering individualized patient care.
- Preparing instruments for terminal sterilization, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Assisting with patient transports and the rapid turnover of operating rooms.
- Staying current on new technologies and practices to enhance your skills and knowledge base.
- Following the principles of a Just Culture, emphasizing safety and quality in the workplace.

Physical Demands:

- Lifting : Up to 50 lbs on occasion

Qualifications:


- Completed a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist.
- Licensed as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association required.
