Estimating Assistant

PrideStaff is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimating Assistant to join a metal fabrication company located in Matthews, NC. Works closely with the Director of Estimating, Sales, and Sales Administrators to handle administrative support, document creation, and order management.

What You Will Do

• Reviews Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for accuracy and drafts formal proposals, spreadsheets, and change order documents.
• Sets up new jobs and sales orders in the McGee order management system, tracks modifications, and submits weekly status reports.
• Files and manages pending paperwork, maintains organized project/administrative folders, and saves materials to the network drive.
• Serves as an operational link across sales teams, handles expedited requests, and flags potential operational issues for management.

• This is a non-customer-facing, back-office role centered on accurate data entry, record maintenance, and internal process support.

What You Will Bring

• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn proprietary order management software.
• Solid grasp of grammar, administrative workflows, and basic accounting practices.
• High attention to detail, strong verbal/written communication, time management, and the ability to collaborate with all organizational levels.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience 3-5 years of data entry and or administrative

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
