The successful candidate will be responsible for portfolio construction, trade execution, and ensuring compliance with investment guidelines. This role requires a focus on safety, liquidity, and diversification, with the goal of maximizing book yield and interest income while minimizing volatility. The VP of Investments will also be involved in liquidity and risk management, and must be prepared to work on selected US holidays on a rotational basis. Candidates for the VP of Investments position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting, with an advanced degree or CFA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in fixed-income investment management or the financial services industry is required. The role demands a professional with a strong work ethic, excellent presentation and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Experience with Bloomberg and Bloomberg AIM is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, autonomous individual with a proven track record of integrity, ambition, and results orientation.
