Employment Attorney

A New Jersey law firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Employment Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Counsel employers on workplace issues involving discipline, termination, leaves of absence, wage-and-hour compliance, discrimination, accommodations, and employee relations
• Provide practical, business-focused guidance on federal and New Jersey employment-law matters
• Draft and review employment policies, employment agreements, separation agreements, and related workplace documentation
• Represent clients before state and local administrative agencies, as needed
• Assist with internal workplace investigations
• Develop trusted client relationships and collaborate with attorneys across related practice areas

Qualifications

• Admission to practice law in New Jersey
• 5+ years of relevant employment-law experience, including employer counseling
• Strong knowledge of federal and New Jersey employment laws, with the ability to apply that knowledge in a practical, client-focused manner
• Employment litigation, administrative-agency, and/or workplace-investigation experience preferred
• Excellent judgment, writing, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Collaborative approach and genuine interest in delivering high-quality client service
• Base salary range: $130,000–$200,000, depending on experience, qualifications,and overall background
