Licensed Physical Therapist - Outpatient Settings

Work Environment

You will work onsite at our Culpeper outpatient facility, which is designed to provide a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. The setting promotes teamwork and features state-of-the-art equipment to facilitate high-quality therapy. Your regular schedule will be Monday through Friday, encompassing a 40-hour workweek that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions and devise tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions for a diverse range of patients, focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine needs.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques to drive effective outcomes, while maintaining adherence to the treating physician's plan of care.
• Provide educational resources to patients and their caregivers, ensuring they understand treatment plans and can participate in their recovery process.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall patient experience, and maintaining a positive clinic environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to continually improve patient care through shared insights and evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating individuals with varying physical health needs, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, and rehabilitating from sports injuries. You will play a pivotal role in assisting patients of all ages to regain their function and improve their quality of life, ensuring that each interaction is characterized by compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Strong computer and word processing skills for documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to establishing meaningful relationships with patients as well as a desire to positively impact their recovery journey.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with advanced specialty training or certifications related to specific areas of practice, such as pediatrics or orthopedics, will be given preference. Prior exposure to outpatient settings, along with experience utilizing electronic health record systems, will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
