Work Environment

At Sierra Orthopedic Clinic, you will work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center designed to promote patient recovery and wellness. The facility spans 5,000 square feet and is outfitted with modern equipment and treatment spaces optimized for sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. Our team consists of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where best practices in patient care can flourish.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to efficiently identify and address each patient's objectives and needs related to their orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Manage a structured caseload, with an emphasis on quality care at a rate of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused attention.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs, utilizing a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise methods.
• Educate patients on prevention strategies, encouraging healthier lifestyle choices that can enhance their recovery and overall well-being.
• Implement cost-effective treatment protocols aimed at improving range of motion and mobility, thereby reducing the reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical options.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly and adjust care plans as necessary, maintaining contemporary documentation of patient progress and treatment strategies in our WebPT EMR Software.
• Motivate patients with individualized wellness programs that incorporate strength training, flexibility exercises, balance, and coordination activities.
• Collaborate professionally with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Uphold the highest standards of documentation, ensuring that all patient care services delivered are accurately recorded and stored.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, providing feedback and adjusting treatment approaches to maximize treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, predominantly composed of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. We focus on a patient-centered approach, working closely with clients who seek to restore their mobility, enhance their physical capabilities, and achieve optimal functional independence. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is a requirement for this position.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with a maintained clean professional record and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques, with a solid foundation in exercise science to foster effective rehabilitation techniques.
• Skills in creating and executing personalized exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with the WebPT EMR Software for patient management and record-keeping is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, showcasing a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment, emphasizing strong communication skills and patient interaction.
• A commitment to continued professional development in the field, ideally through workshops or additional certifications related to orthopedics.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually.
