This full-time position focuses on providing outpatient orthopedic care in a home care setting. Work Environment

This position primarily entails providing on-site patient care in home environments, fostering a supportive and comfortable atmosphere for patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers and caregivers, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive and individualized treatment tailored to their unique needs. Our normal operating hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a structured yet accommodating work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with state practice regulations and guidance to ensure all interactions and treatments follow legal requirements.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and develop effective treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize best practices and evidence-based methods to implement treatment protocols that address patient conditions effectively.
• Engage with patients in their homes, providing personalized therapy that empowers them to improve their mobility and overall health.
• Document all patient interactions and updates meticulously, ensuring clear communication of treatment progress and changes in patient conditions.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to refine care approaches as needed.
• Conduct timely discharge planning with appropriate follow-up protocols to ensure continuity of care post-treatment.
• Maintain compliance with ongoing training requirements and corporate policies, ensuring knowledge reflects the current healthcare landscape.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse range of patients in their homes, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or coping with neurological conditions. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients, making their comfort and satisfaction a priority. You will actively tailor treatment plans that resonate with the individual's lifestyle and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• At least two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, enabling you to handle a range of conditions effectively.
• A valid CPR certification to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years in outpatient orthopedic care is expected, candidates with experience in home health settings or specialized rehabilitation areas will have a distinct advantage. Proficient knowledge of patient assessment tools and treatment protocols specific to home care is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
