Key Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive physical therapy interventions aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function according to individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in delivering therapy services, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and best practices.
• Evaluate clients' functional abilities through a range of diagnostic tests to develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Assess and enhance patients' home environments to ensure safety and maximize independence.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and physical agents to promote recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously through clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team during case conferences to evaluate and update comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families, providing education on therapy methods, device usage, and overall wellness.
• Timely submission of clinical documentation and adherence to branch policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of individuals requiring rehabilitation services resulting from various conditions such as post-surgery recovery, neurological disorders, chronic pain, and age-related mobility issues. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• One (1) year of experience in a physical therapy role, ideally within acute care or home care settings.
• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Up-to-date CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance for travel to patient homes.
• A creative thinker with strong decision-making abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
