Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing for hands-on engagement with patients in a collaborative setting. As a key member of our outpatient team, you will work in a supportive environment with access to the latest rehabilitation technology. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one personalized care to patients, ensuring treatment plans are designed according to each individual's unique goals and recovery needs.
• Manage a manageable patient caseload, dedicating adequate time to each session to foster therapeutic relationships and enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to inform effective treatment modalities and interventions.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that emphasize mobility and functional improvement, while proactively managing patients' progress.
• Focus on non-surgical interventions whenever feasible, aiming to reduce dependency on pain medications and enhance recovery through physical rehabilitation.
• Create and adapt comprehensive care plans that integrate diverse physical therapy techniques and approaches, ensuring optimal recovery trajectories for patients.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific needs of each patient, enhancing overall health and mobility.
• Employ evidence-based practices to conduct therapies, ensuring patients receive the most effective and up-to-date treatment available.
• Encourage and motivate patients, fostering a positive therapeutic environment to support their recovery journey.
• Promote overall health by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care and coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia is necessary, with a clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise programming.
• Ability to effectively utilize electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient management.
• A strong foundation in current physical therapy methodologies supported by clinical research is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, showcasing your ability to manage a caseload effectively.
• Familiarity with sports medicine will be advantageous, particularly for patients engaged in athletic activities.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
