The Quality Control Associate is responsible for ensuring equipment and services meet the standard of quality outlined by the Lowe by developing processes to implement better quality controls and finding ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Suggest recommendations to improve quality control, maintenance, support and training programs.

• Ensure proper workflow and protect employees against work hazards.

• Build and maintain relationships with QC Vendors.

• Work with QC team to innovate scalable solutions to QC workflows and processes.

• Encourage and enforce cleanliness to ensure safe working conditions.

• Focus on corrective actions to make sure equipment meet required specifications.

• Create proper QC checklists to ensure the equipment flows through the QC process correctly.

• Check and confirm all goods meet Lowe’s quality standards and checklist is completed by QC team

• Assist in regular audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.

• Work with QC team and tech to ensure daily QC goals are met.

• Ensure end to end Quality Safety Compliance on site including appropriate risk assessments and control measures towards identified risks

• Ensure effective internal and external communication

• Maintain effective relationship with Ops team

Essential Requirements:

The successful candidate must be a self-starter with an ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced, demanding environment with the following requirements:

• Certification or previous experience in Quality Control and/or related field

• Proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Teams

• Ability to manage and organize files appropriately

• Excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to teach processes

• Attention to Detail, ability to make decisions and problem-solving skills

• Mechanically inclined and ability to use basic hand tools

• Ability to retain information given

• Ability to work without direct supervision
