Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history, strengths, and areas for growth, utilizing tools that provide insights into their past experiences.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, adjusting approaches based on real-time patient feedback and progress.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that each session addresses specific therapeutic goals.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, explore coping mechanisms, and foster healing in a supportive setting.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to provide integrated care for clients, enhancing the therapeutic alliance and improving treatment outcomes.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calm and effective management of acute situations.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources, facilitating greater awareness and understanding.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This vulnerable population requires sensitive engagement and specialized treatment adaptations to facilitate effective healing and support. Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT, or LMFT within Maryland.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with evidence of competency in trauma-informed care.

• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
