Employment Associate | Hybrid, San Diego | $260,000 to $390,000

The harassment training is at nine in a hotel function room. Forty managers, one projector that won’t talk to anyone’s laptop, and a regional director in the front row who’s clearly been sent and wants everyone to know it.

By the end of the morning the regional director is asking the best questions in the room, and in this San Diego job mornings like that sit right alongside the litigation.

You’d be three years in or more, working on discrimination and wage and hour claims, some breach of contract fights, the HR advice, the policies and agreements, the investigations and the training. It’s hybrid, roughly three days a week in the San Diego office, and pays $260,000 to $390,000 with a bonus on top.

What you’ll be doing:

• Employment litigation, discrimination, wage and hour and contract claims
• HR counselling and drafting policies and agreements
• Running workplace investigations
• Compliance training for managers, projector permitting

What you’ll have:

• 3 years or more of employment law and the California Bar, or eligible for it
• Good communication and organisation
