Labor and Employment Associate

Job Overview Law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Associate to join its team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will be a 3rd-4th year associate with experience in labor and employment litigation. Duties Handle temporary restraining order and temporary injunction expedited relief proceedings. Engage in trade secret misappropriation and noncompete litigation. Conduct wage and hour class action litigation and union negotiations. Provide advice and counseling on OSHA matters. Manage single plaintiff employment litigation. Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings. Participate in trial preparation and settlement conferences. Requirements Strong legal writing skills. Experience with discovery and motion practice. Ability to thrive in a busy, collegial environment. Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills. Top academic credentials. Education: JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications: Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice.
