Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for families and individuals experiencing various issues, from relationship conflicts to coping with grief and loss.

• Facilitating joint therapy sessions with couples, while also providing individual therapy sessions when necessary to address the unique dynamics within the family.

• Specializing in a broad range of focus areas including, but not limited to, substance abuse, domestic violence, job-related stress, blended family challenges, and communication difficulties.

• Maintaining accurate documentation of client sessions and treatment progress using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
\n
• Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within our organization to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will encompass a diverse range of individuals, including couples, children, and adolescents. You will engage with families facing complex dynamics such as separation and divorce, blended families, and parent-child conflicts. Your expertise and compassionate approach will help clients navigate their unique circumstances and foster communication and healing within their relationships.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Massachusetts.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

Preferred Experience\n

While newly licensed therapists are encouraged to apply, candidates with experience in family therapy, telehealth, and techniques specific to relationship and family dynamics are preferred. A demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to continuous professional development will be favorable.
