Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to a diverse clientele seeking outpatient support. This includes developing trusting relationships and empathetic therapeutic rapport.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and relational situations to tailor personalized treatment plans that address specific needs, focusing on realistic and measurable goals.

• Employ family systems theory along with systemic interventions to effectively address complex relationship dynamics, communication hurdles, and various family stressors.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during sessions when clients are in distress, ensuring a safe environment for all involved.

• Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential records of client progress, treatment plans, and assessments, adhering to ethical and legal standards in all documentation practices.

• Educate clients on essential skills such as effective communication, conflict resolution, and adaptive coping techniques to promote positive relational outcomes and emotional health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an outpatient therapist, you will engage primarily with adults and children/adolescents facing various mental health challenges, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding clients through their obstacles and enhancing their emotional and relational well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
