Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations and psychosocial assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients and create customized treatment plans that reflect these needs.

• Diagnose and provide evidence-based treatment for a range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, regularly updating care plans as necessary to align with clients' evolving conditions.

• Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that can include cognitive behavioral, attachment-based, and solution-focused approaches.

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with patients' families and other healthcare providers to coordinate care effectively.

• Utilize community resources and support systems, including support groups and treatment programs, to enhance clients’ treatment experiences.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding mental health practice and patient care standards.

• Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring they have access to needed resources, and that their voices are heard within the care team.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest practices and standards in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position involves working with a diverse population of clients, ranging from children to adults, who present with a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to fit the unique needs of each client will be crucial in helping them achieve their treatment goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure to practice in Massachusetts as either an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC is required.

• Proven ability to build rapport with clients and maintain therapeutic relationships that encourage healing and growth.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to ensure clear documentation and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n
