Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to meet each client’s unique mental health needs.

• Collaborate with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to create effective treatment plans that facilitate recovery and promote psychosocial well-being.

• Maintain meticulous documentation, including treatment plans, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards.

• Engage actively with community resources and facilitate referrals for clients, supporting their needs beyond therapy.

• Lead psychoeducation groups, providing clients with valuable insights and tools regarding perinatal mental health and other pertinent topics.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and continuous education workshops to enhance service delivery.

• Develop and nurture relationships with local agencies to address social service needs and advocate for clients' rights.

• Assist with psychosocial assessments, integrating comprehensive information into the treatment planning process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on clients experiencing perinatal mental health issues, in addition to a diverse array of other mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals who may be facing depression, anxiety, or stress related to pregnancy and motherhood, creating targeted intervention strategies that are responsive to their particular circumstances. Your role will involve creating a trusting environment where clients feel safe discussing their feelings and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) according to state regulations.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party.

• Ability to work cohesively with a multidisciplinary team in a remote outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
