Biologics Account Manager (Annapolis, MD) As a Biologics Account Manager, you will be responsible for exceeding your sales quota and growing the Sports Medicine Biologics business within your territory. You will act as a product consultant in the Sports Medicine Biologics portfolio, specializing in both Biologics and Sports Medicine soft tissue injury repair. Using your expertise, you will convert physicians and accounts by making sales calls and providing clinical case coverage in the operating room. You will also train surgeons on Smith+ Nephew products through education programs within your territory. This position will work collaboratively with key orthopedic surgeons, hospital and OR staff, administrators, and clinicians, and cross‑divisionally to increase awareness and adoption of products, including the Sports Medicine Biologics portfolio. Key Responsibilities Convert physicians and accounts through sales calls and clinical case coverage. Train surgeons on Smith+ Nephew products via education programs. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, hospital staff, and other stakeholders to promote product adoption. Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet or exceed quota. Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of direct sales experience, with at least 4 years in a medical or hospital environment. Experience selling technology and/or capital products to multiple call points within a hospital (surgeons, nursing, administration, facilities, biomedical, information systems). Demonstrated success in achieving quota year over year. Proven success in complex sales environments, selling to teams of buyers and multiple decision‑makers in a hospital or medical setting. Proven success in achieving quota year over year. Experience leading or mentoring new sales representatives. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Travel Requirements Within the designated sales territory with 1–3 overnights per week depending on the geography of the territory, plus infrequent national travel for events and conferences. Compensation and Benefits Anticipated base compensation range: $60,000 – $100,000 USD annually, based on experience, location, and internal equity. Eligible for sales commission and incentives based on set targets.
