More information about the firm and its services is available at Role Description The Associate Attorney will support the firm’s diverse practice by conducting legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents, and assisting in case strategy and preparation. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, providing legal advice under partner supervision, participating in negotiations, and preparing for and attending hearings, depositions, and court appearances as needed. The role will involve collaboration with partners and staff on matters related to business law, labor and employment issues, land use, public entities, and personal injury cases. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Wayne, NJ, with opportunities for professional development and increasing responsibility. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to analyze statutes, case law, and regulations and apply them to client matters. Experience or coursework in Labor and Employment Law, including handling workplace issues, compliance, and dispute resolution. Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients under supervision, with sound judgment and professional ethics. Proficiency in legal Research, including use of electronic research tools and preparation of well-supported memoranda and briefs. Negotiation skills for resolving disputes, drafting settlement agreements, and advocating for client interests. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission, or eligibility for admission, to the New Jersey Bar. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Capacity to manage multiple matters simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
