Help Desk Technician

Salary: $52,000 - 72,800 per year Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in information technology or a related discipline is preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in IT support.
• Working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, computer hardware, and peripherals.
• Basic grasp of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with foundational troubleshooting methods and basic Active Directory administration.
• Experience using a ticketing platform such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or Freshservice is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to manage several priorities at once.
• Positive mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to stay organized and document work clearly.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Prior retail, technology, or customer-facing support experience is a plus.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 in a work or academic setting is preferred.
• CompTIA A+ certification, or progress toward it, is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Provide first-line technical support to end users across Microsoft-based systems and devices.
• Assist with Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, and endpoint device issues.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
• Deliver responsive, customer-focused support to internal users.
• Log, track, and manage service requests through a ticketing system.
• Support the team by helping maintain a reliable and efficient IT environment.
• Build hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and Microsoft technologies.
