A well-established company in Cranston, RI, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to manage key AP and AR functions while supporting accurate, timely financial operations.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional who can manage multiple priorities, resolve discrepancies, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Highlights:
- Pay Rate: $25 per hour
- Location: Cranston, RI
- Direct hire/permanent role
- Full-time
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist:
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment to vendors
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment application, and collections follow-up
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate, organized financial records and vendor/client files
- Assist with month-end close support and reporting
- Communicate professionally with vendors, clients, and internal team members regarding billing and payment matters
Qualifications of the Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist:
- 2+ years of AP/AR or full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, professional communication skills
