Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit during overnight shifts
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must comply with facility float policy within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown clinical setting
