We're a locally owned and operated staffing and talent search firm with long-standing relationships throughout the Metro Detroit business community.

We're looking to add a  Recruiter to our successful team in either our  Southfield or Taylor, MI office .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to  get their foot in the door and build a career from the ground up . You don't need years of recruiting experience to succeed here. We can teach you the staffing industry—you bring the drive, communication skills, and desire to succeed. People with backgrounds in  retail management, inside sales, personal banking, customer service, business-to-business sales, or other relationship-driven roles have historically done very well in our environment.

What You'll Do:

As a Recruiter, you'll be involved in the process from the initial conversation with a candidate all the way through placement and ongoing support.

• Identify and connect with talented candidates in the market
• Recruit and interview candidates for open positions
• Evaluate skills, experience, personality, and career goals
• Administer skills assessments and complete candidate evaluations
• Guide candidates through the onboarding process
• Explain company policies, procedures, and expectations to new employees
• Match candidates with opportunities that fit their skills and goals
• Maintain strong relationships with candidates and placed employees
• Develop referral sources and build your professional network
• Present qualified candidates to prospective and existing clients
• Make outbound calls to develop new business opportunities
• Visit client and prospect companies
• Work alongside our sales team and management to develop and grow key accounts
• Help maintain strong, long-term relationships with our clients

You don't have to be a recruiting expert. We're looking for someone with the  personality and drive to become one.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
• Comfortable talking with people on the phone and in person
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
• Competitive, goal-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
• High School Diploma required
• Recent college graduates are welcome to apply!
• Previous recruiting experience is helpful, but  not required
