TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Lexington, Kentucky, 40508!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - 1 year experience in medical surgical nursing - Ability to float to telemetry units - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Peripheral line care/management - Non-invasive airway management Description: General medical surgical floor position available. Nurse will be required to float to telemetry units. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted for this position. Nurse will be expected to work 3 out of 5 winter holidays. The nursing unit provides care for adult and geriatric patients. Daily patient census is approximately 23. Nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary support team that includes various services. Candidates must be skilled in the interpretation of dysrhythmias. The unit is not telemetry monitored, but floating to monitored units is a requirement. All compliance requirements must be met prior to orientation. One reference is required prior to submission. Candidates may float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby. Rehire eligibility will be verified for candidates who have previously worked in a similar role.
