Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Washington or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings
- Strong foundation in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Knowledge of teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with a wide range of needs
- Develop and implement individualized education and therapy plans in partnership with teaching staff and families
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy, both in-person and via teletherapy
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all required reporting standards
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, consultations, and multidisciplinary team activities
- Educate and guide parents, caregivers, and teachers on supporting student communication goals
