Manufacturing Supervisor (Day/Night Shift)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities, subject to change based on organizational needs, including but not limited to the following: Production & Operations Supervise daily manufacturing activities to achieve production schedules, output targets, and on‑time delivery commitments. Monitor line performance, staffing, and material flow to optimize productivity and minimize downtime. Coordinate shift handovers and escalate production, quality, or equipment issues as required. Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards. Monitor product quality metrics (FPY, defect rates, rework) and initiate corrective actions. Support audits, inspections, and customer requirements related to quality, safety, and compliance. Safety & Workplace Standards Enforce Lite‑On safety policies, PPE requirements, and injury/illness prevention programs. Conduct daily safety checks and immediately address unsafe conditions or behaviors. Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation. Lead, coach, and develop production team members, including operators and technicians. Manage attendance, shift assignments, overtime, and performance feedback. Support onboarding, training, and cross‑training to ensure workforce capability and coverage. Participate in Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and waste reduction. Analyze production data to identify process gaps, scrap reduction opportunities, and cost savings. Support implementation of process changes and standardization initiative Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred. 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including supervisory or team‑lead responsibility. Strong working knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret SOPs, work instructions, and production metrics.
