Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify client needs and create tailored treatment plans that may include individual or group therapy sessions.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based approaches to effectively treat diverse mental health concerns.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, assessing risk levels and determining appropriate action swiftly and compassionately.

• Collaborate actively with other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated treatment approach, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient care.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness around mental health issues and reduce stigma through education and engagement with the wider community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, consisting of individuals of varying ages, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This includes those facing common issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. By engaging with different communities, you will enhance your cultural competence and sensitivity, ensuring that your therapeutic practices are informed and inclusive.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Demonstrable skills in communication and relationship-building to effectively engage with clients and their families.

• Cultural competence and sensitivity to address the diverse needs of the population served.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clear and timely documentation and manage caseloads efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a community mental health setting or familiarity with telehealth platforms is advantageous. You should be adept at using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
