Locums Outpatient General Neurology Atlantic City, NJ Why This Role

• 100% outpatient General Neurology
• No call, inpatient coverage, weekends, or holidays
• Minimum commitment of three consistent weekdays per week
• Full-time availability preferred
• Multiple providers may be considered
Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP following credentialing
• End Date: Ongoing until a permanent neurologist is hired
• Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday, approximately 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
• Minimum Commitment: Three consistent days per week
• Locations: Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, and Atlantic City
• Rotation: One location per day; assignments coordinated in advance
• Setting: Outpatient Neurology clinics
• Patient Population: Approximately 60% adults and 40% geriatrics
• Daily Volume: Approximately 14 Äì18 patients
• Typical Mix: Three to five new patients and 10 Äì13 follow-ups
• Call/Weekends/Holidays: None
• EMR: Cerner/Oracle Fusion
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 Äì120 days
• Temporary Privileges: Unavailable
Requirements
• ABPN or AOBNP Board-Certified or truly Board-Eligible Neurologist
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey license or willingness to obtain one
• Active DEA and New Jersey CDS before the start date
• Current BLS
• Adult outpatient General Neurology experience
• Ability to commit to at least three consistent weekdays per week
• Willingness to rotate among all three locations
• Cerner or comparable EMR experience preferred
• Malpractice, credentialing, and privilege history required at presentation
• EEG interpretation, EMG, and Botox capabilities must be disclosed
• Earliest start date and any schedule restrictions required at presentation
Clinical Details
• Evaluate new and established adult and geriatric patients
• Manage migraines, seizures, neuropathy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, cognitive disorders, and post-stroke follow-up
• Review imaging, laboratory results, and outside medical records
• Order appropriate diagnostic testing and manage medications
• Complete documentation, patient messages, test-result reviews, and follow-up tasks
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, APPs, specialists, and the neuroscience team
• Provide independent outpatient coverage across multiple locations
• No leadership or teaching responsibilities
