Our company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts Payable Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent role that requires a detail-oriented professional who is well-versed in the realm of accounts payable and receivable. The successful candidate will oversee all activities related to payment processing, regulatory compliance, invoice processing, vendor management, and reconciliation.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department including month-end processes, year-end close process, and auditing tasks.
- Handle all aspects of payment processing, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, implementing changes as necessary to maintain compliance.
- Oversee the invoice processing system, ensuring all invoices are processed and paid in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable transactions.
- Stay up-to-date with legal laws related to finance and accounting, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounts payable role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in payment processing, invoice processing, and vendor management.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and legal laws related to finance and accounting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage vendor relationships and communicate effectively with senior management.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
