Job Title: AML/CFTAnalyst II

Department: Compliance

Reports To: Assistant AML/CFT Officer

Summary:

Performs advanced AML/CFT investigations and compliance monitoring activities with limited supervision. Serves as a resource to department staff and assists with regulatory reporting, risk assessments, and program administration. The ideal candidate will possess two to five years of AML/CFT compliance experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and investigate complex AML/CFT alerts and cases
Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and supporting documentation
Conduct enhanced due diligence reviews on high-risk customers
Provide guidance to bank personnel regarding AML/CFT requirements and procedures
Assist with customer risk rating administration
Analyze transactional activity and identify emerging risk trends
Assist with production of management reports and committee materials
Provide mentoring and training to AML/CFT Analyst I staff
Assist with validation of AML/CFT monitoring system settings and effectiveness
Participate in regulatory examinations and audits
Perform other duties as assigned

Experience

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Two to four years of AML/CFT experience
Proficient in the use of Verafin
Working knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and AML regulations
