Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located near Denver and Aurora, CO, the position consists of a 40-hour work week within a collaborative and well-supported team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher license or certification (Colorado eligibility required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher working with primary-aged students is highly desired
• Strong understanding of IEPs, differentiated instruction, and behavior intervention strategies
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with diverse learners and creating positive outcomes for students with special needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to primary-level students
• Provide direct and indirect instruction in both individual and group settings
• Utilize a range of instructional techniques and assistive technology to facilitate learning
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and service providers for holistic student support
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and adaptive classroom environment
