Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located near Denver, CO, this contract opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, through May 20, 2027, and involves working collaboratively within a dynamic school environment.

Utilize your expertise to guide students with varying needs, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and coordinate with families and staff to drive positive educational outcomes. Qualifications/Requirements:

• Active Colorado Special Education (CO SPED) Certification (required)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience teaching or case managing in special education, especially at the high school level
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, compliance, and documentation
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite throughout the contract period

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied caseload of high school students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct instruction, academic support, and accommodations to students
• Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
