Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional well-being, utilizing various assessment tools to gather accurate information.

• Formulate tailored treatment plans based on client evaluations, collaborating with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions addressing a wide spectrum of mental health issues—from anxiety and depression to interpersonal conflicts.

• Facilitate couples therapy to assist partners in improving communication, resolving conflicts, and building stronger relationships.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans to reflect ongoing assessments of client progress and emerging needs.

• Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring timely documentation of interactions, treatment plans, and case histories in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with other caregivers and educational resources, coordinating care to meet the holistic needs of clients.

• Provide crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute challenges or emergencies, applying appropriate techniques to stabilize and support.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, sustainable practices, and methodologies in Marriage and Family Therapy to ensure best practices are implemented in your work.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, trainings, and supervision to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with a diverse client population that includes adolescents, adults, and couples facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will play an essential role in helping clients manage issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, trauma, and stress through customized treatment approaches that respect their unique experiences and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Missouri.

• Proven experience in providing therapy, particularly with individuals or couples needing support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
