Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Premier Counseling & Wellness Services, you will engage in a variety of therapeutic activities, including:

• Conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions through both telehealth platforms and in-person sessions at our community health clinic.
\n
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine client needs, treatment goals, and progress throughout the therapy process.
\n
• Developing personalized treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and tailored to each client's unique background and circumstances.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) based on individual client needs.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
\n
• Regularly collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to discuss client cases and enhance treatment outcomes.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and support as required, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
\n
• Demonstrating effective communication skills to ensure transparency with clients and their families about the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adults, and families from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds. You will address a wide range of mental health issues, including trauma, grief, relationships, and other complex life challenges. Sensitivity to cultural and individual needs is paramount, aiming to build trusting relationships that foster healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong bilingual (Spanish and English) communication skills, encompassing written, oral, and non-verbal language capabilities.
\n
• At least two years of experience in a mental health setting, working effectively with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Respect and sensitivity for cultural differences, with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
\n
• Enjoyments of continued education and improvement through learning short-term therapy modalities.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training in areas such as Trauma, LGBTQ+, Grief & Loss, or Perinatal Mental Health.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, Microsoft Office, and teletherapy platforms.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to work as an in-network provider for insurance panels.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive salary between $70,000 and $105,000, with opportunities for bonuses.
