Lead Security Engineer - Cloud DevOps

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in security engineering concepts, along with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• We need practical experience with AWS services, including compute, networking, storage, identity management, and audit logging, plus additional exposure to Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• We expect demonstrated experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices for provisioning and managing secure cloud environments.
• We require experience building and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines for infrastructure and platform releases.
• We need proficiency in automation and scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages to support platform operations and deployment workflows.
• We require experience administering Linux and Windows servers in enterprise environments.
• We expect knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, role-based access control, encryption, and compliance controls.
• We require experience using Git for source control, including branching strategies and code review practices.
• We need the ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations, ensuring outcomes align with security, resiliency, and auditability expectations.
• Preferred: experience with digital forensics platforms and cloud-based investigative solutions supporting incident response workflows.
• Preferred: familiarity with VMware virtualization environments, including virtual machine lifecycle management and virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Preferred: experience with container-based architectures and cloud-native application development patterns.
• Preferred: knowledge of threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing methodologies.
• Preferred: experience supporting disaster recovery, high availability, and resiliency initiatives across distributed cloud platforms.

• We design, deploy, and maintain enterprise digital forensics platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments, with a focus on security, scalability, and high availability.
• We develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform to create secure, repeatable, and auditable cloud environments.
• We build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines that support infrastructure and platform releases across multi-cloud environments.
• We implement automation for deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• We perform functional, validation, failover, and production readiness testing to protect platform integrity and operational resilience.
• We implement cloud networking, storage, identity and access management, encryption, and security controls aligned with compliance and regulatory standards.
• We collaborate with cybersecurity operations, engineering, and cloud service teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, and incident response capabilities.
• We apply AI-assisted practices within the software development lifecycle to strengthen security testing, control validation, and threat modeling while maintaining traceability and resiliency expectations.
• We create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures to support governance and knowledge sharing.
