SDB is a growing community supporting pediatric dentistry, orthodontic, and oral surgery practices across the country. Our HR team plays an important role in that growth by making sure our leaders and team members have the support, tools, and guidance they need to succeed.What You'll Do:As an HR Business Partner, you'll work closely with regional leaders, Practice Managers, Office Managers, and local leadership teams. You'll be a go-to HR partner for the everyday people matters that come with leading a great team.Travel: 30% based on business needs.You'll Spend Your Time:Building strong, trusted relationships with managers and operational leadersCoaching managers through employee conversations, performance concerns, and day-to-day people decisionsSupporting performance management, corrective action, and employee documentationHelping leaders navigate employee relations concerns and workplace conflictConducting or supporting employee investigations in partnership with Employee RelationsPartnering with leaders on employee engagement, retention, and team moraleHelping identify opportunities to strengthen workplace cultureSupporting leaders and employees through organizational changesProviding guidance on HR policies and helping ensure they are applied consistently and fairlyCollaborating with Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, and other partners across SDBLooking at workforce trends and helping leaders turn those insights into practical next stepsSupporting HR programs, leadership development initiatives, and other people-focused projectsRequirements:3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years of direct HR Business Partner experience; experience in HR Generalist or Employee Relations-focused roles is preferred.Experience supporting managers with employee relations and performance managementWorking knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesExperience with corrective action, employee documentation, and workplace investigationsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsGood judgment and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionallyA practical, solutions-focused approach to HRThe ability to balance multiple priorities in a growing, fast-paced environmentExperience supporting multiple locations or field-based teams is a plusA Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferredPHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus, but not requiredWhy Specialty Dental Brands?At SDB, our people are at the heart of what we do.
