Work Environment

This full-time role will be performed onsite at our Largo rehabilitation center from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will work within a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation nurses, providing a holistic approach to patient care. Our facility features spacious treatment areas, private therapy rooms, and a warm, welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a structured patient load, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and individualized care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and manual therapy techniques to provide effective treatment interventions.
• Develop detailed, personalized treatment plans, incorporating various therapeutic modalities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting care accurately.
• Encourage active participation from patients, motivating them to achieve their rehabilitation goals through supportive guidance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and continuity of services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center serves a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and sports injuries. You will work with patients of all ages, from children to seniors, each requiring tailored therapeutic approaches to their specific issues. Your role will directly improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life, helping them regain independence and pursue a healthy lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successful patient outcomes through innovative treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
