This position is located in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the heart of Palm Harbor, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical capabilities and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at maximizing their functional abilities.
• Engage with each patient, understanding and addressing their individual goals for rehabilitation, while ensuring they remain motivated throughout the treatment process.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, scheduling one-on-one therapy sessions with each patient on an hourly basis to provide dedicated care.
• Implement a diverse set of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and manual therapy techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR), specifically WebPT, for documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes effectively.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans to ensure continuous improvement while reducing dependency on medications and surgical options.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Conduct educational workshops for patients on wellness topics, including fitness, strength, and balance to motivate adherence to prescribed programs.
• Document all interactions and treatment plans clearly and accurately to maintain compliance with health regulations and enhance communication among the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients dealing with post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and prehabilitation. Our clientele values personalized treatment plans, making it essential for you to nurture genuine relationships with each patient. Your expertise will guide them through recovery and empowerment in their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is mandatory, with no disciplinary actions or board issues on record.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Track record of patient success stories and positive outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
