Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Fort Bragg, CA. 13-week assignment beginning 08/31/2026 with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12-hour day shift in a critical access hospital setting. The role delivers direct patient care for a Med/Surg patient population, collaborates with the care team, and follows established standards of care and the nursing process.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a group of Med/Surg patients according to the nursing process and standards of care.
- Collect relevant patient data, perform ongoing assessments, and document findings in the EPIC EMR.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; administer and monitor medications within scope; intervene as needed to stabilize patient condition.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team; delegate appropriately and supervise assigned staff.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education to support safe transition and continuity of care; maintain a safe, healing environment.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) or eligible for licensure in the state of assignment.
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Med/Surg or a related acute care setting.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification also required.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- BSN education preferred.
- Ability to work a travel assignment for 13 weeks in Fort Bragg and fulfill a 3x12-hour day shift schedule.
