Occupational Health NurseJoby Aviation is seeking a full-time Occupational Health Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position will serve a key role within our state-of-the-art manufacturing and testing areas by providing case management, health and risk reduction, workplace hazard detection, reporting on occupational health and safety incidents, and providing first aid to our teammates.The most important traits at Joby are a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, the ability to self-manage, and to learn new skills. The Joby Aviation team is made up of extremely talented, hardworking, proactive, and hands-on individuals, operating in a very fast-paced and rewarding environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement health and safety programsEnsure compliance with safety standards and internal processes and proceduresDocument all employee injuries and illnesses within the workplaceProvide follow-up on Workers' Compensation cases, ensuring employee treatment is documented and appropriate paperwork is completedTreat injuries and illnesses for employees, including follow-ups and referralsCounsel employees on physical and mental health issues and guide them toward community resources and/or employee assistance programsSupport and reinforce a company-wide safety cultureParticipate in safety-related meetings with personnelAssist with planning and coordination of health-related programs, screenings, and initiativesContribute to continuous improvement of occupational health practices and proceduresAbility to cover swing shifts as neededRequiredBachelor's degree2+ years of related experienceLicensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California (or ability to obtain prior to start)Adult CPR, AED & First Aid CertificationAbility to be flexible, work under pressure, multitask, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational and time management skillsExceptional interpersonal skillsMust be a team playerDesiredOccupational health, emergency, or clinic nursing experienceKnowledge of applicable OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulationsBilingual in SpanishExperience with emergency response and crisis managementCompensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $70,000 - $115,000/year.
